For the final day of San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel has unveiled one last surprise at its booth. On the heels of yesterday’s confirmation that Academy Award-winning actor Kurt Russell will be portraying Ego the Living Planet and Star-Lord’s dad in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, we now have a first look at one of his cool costumes from the much-anticipated sequel. It’s not exactly what you would expect a living planet to don, but the costume is obviously for Ego's human form which is just one of many that he can take in the comics. Therefore, check it out below.

Writer/director James Gunn recently offered more details about Russell’s unexpected role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, and he also explained how important the character is to the overall story, as well as how he will translate to the big-screen which you can read here!
