Guillermo Del Toro Will Have One More HELLBOY III Discussion If You Help Him Out

We had thought all hope for Hellboy III was long gone, but it turns out director Guillermo del Toro is making one more effort to get the ball rolling on a final installment. Find out how you can help...

While his schedule has filled to the brim with a wide array of in-development projects, the question Guillermo del Toro gets asked most often is "when is Hellboy III coming?"

Unfortunately, with Hellboy II: The Golden Army unable to turn a profit back in the summer of 2008, the idea of a sequel never seemed likely. Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman, has tried to rally support for a trilogy capper on social media in the past, but has recently suggested that fans not get their hopes up any more.

However, Del Toro now promises that if his Twitter poll reaches near 100,000 votes by tomorrow, he'll have one more sit down with Perlman and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola to hopefully get the ball rolling once more.

It still seems highly improbable that Hellboy III will come about., but stranger things have happened. Are you still interested in another movie after all these years? If so, vote, share, and get it done.

Everyone with a twitter account should vote. I don't even care about Hellboy, but I know lots of people do, so I voted anyway.

Nothing is more annoying than an incomplete vision. Even if Hellboy 3 does not end up being good, i still want to see where the story would go and how it would end for these characters - even if the second film gave us a general idea of how it would all go down.

So what? if he sits down with Mignola and Perlman. They're not the reason the film hasn't been made. Unless he's talking about convincing them to fund it, a "sit down" with those guys won't amount to shit.

@Dunejedi - It feels like he is trying to make people feel that it is the fault of Mignola and Perlman - when it seems more like he is personally reluctant to do it. He's been making excuses primarily for the last three years at least.

When this is successful he'll use it as a way to say that he always wanted to do it and they stopped him, but fans managed to convince them to do it
