In Summer 2014, the world’s most revered monster is reborn as Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures unleash the epic action adventure “Godzilla.” From visionary new director Gareth Edwards (“Monsters”) comes a powerful story of human courage and reconciliation in the face of titanic forces of nature, when the awe-inspiring Godzilla rises to restore balance as humanity stands defenseless.

Gareth Edwards directs “Godzilla,” which stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Kick-Ass”), Oscar® nominee Ken Watanabe (“The Last Samurai,” “Inception”), Elizabeth Olsen (“Martha Marcy May Marlene”), Oscar® winner Juliette Binoche (“The English Patient,” “Cosmopolis”), and Sally Hawkins (“Blue Jasmine”), with Oscar® nominee David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck.,” “The Bourne Legacy”) and Bryan Cranston (“Argo,” TV’s “Breaking Bad”).

GODZILLA will stomp into theaters May 16, 2014.

Great Artwork!
It turned out very similar to the film. Gotta love the concept art and The King of the Monsters.

Loved this flick. Just hated the MUTOs look, very generic monsters. Why couldn't they go into the Monster Island vault and take one from there?

Sequals going to be bad ass. Now that the suspense and building up Godzilla is out the way. Time for him to go full beast mode come next movie! But... Give me a new lead actor.. please

A new version of Rodan or Gigan would've been much better first monsters.

I like the way the made godzilla move around like a bear.

Everything from the snout, and the way it hunches its back when it roars.

I have no idea why, but that scene with Godzilla swimming peacefully next to 5 or 6 aircraft carriers and battleships on his way to lay waste to the MUTOs...man, that was incredible. Such an enjoyable movie!

Yea that kill was no joke, Even held the MUTO's head in his hand for a while when he gave that ROAAR. Telling all the other mutated giant monsters "Come At Me Bro"

@SauronsBANE1

I loved that scene too! I have no clue why.....

Honestly in most these disaster type movies. I love to see how the world(created in the movie) reacts to such crazy stuff. How we would respond to the monster.. I think this movie did a good job doing that.

@LAsBruceWayne, Agreed! The mark of a good Godzilla movie is when he's actually the good guy, and this movie NAILED that. And I think I liked that scene so much because it shows how much he just doesn't care about humanity. We're literally like ants to him, and he couldn't care less about us. The warships are just a little nuisance to him, so he pays them no attention. Such a great scene.

felt short changed, whenever there was a fight...it cut away...except for 5 minutes at the end.

really wanted to enjoy the film but apart from a moment here and there it was pretty boring

as bad as/good as pacific rim for the opposite reasons

Cap 2: TWS is the best movie of 2014 in my family's opinion. We're still waiting to see what Guardians brings to the table though. Can't wait!

I didn't enjoy Godzilla as much as I thought I would. It felt unnecessarily glum, and his breath looked less like fire than a white laser, which bothered me when combined with all the other irritating things about the movie.

And there's also the little matter about Joe Brody, The Movie! Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and guest-starring every body's favorite fire-breathing mutated dinosaur, Godzilla!

Superman would smoke Godzilla in seconds.

And this is clearly 'The most frustrating movie of 2014'. Fabulously average movie which could've been so much better. 6/10 = a near 70% BO drop.
