Burton and Depp have frequently collaborated in the past on such films as Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Sweeney Todd, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Alice in Wonderland.

Dark Shadows deals with supernatural happenings surrounding the Collins family of fictional Collinsport, Maine. Part of the scenario of the feature will have handyman Willie Loomis (Jackie Earle Haley) open a chained coffin he believes to contain jewels, but, instead, contains Barnabas Collins, who he inadvertently frees.

You people are ridiculous, please excuse the men for enjoying their jobs and wanting to work as much as they can. I could understand if Johnny Depp was a crappy actor but the man has proven time and time again that he is amazing at what he does so why should he not be working on new movies all the time? Alot of people like him, like me for instance and love watching his movies.

In the not too distant future there will be only one movie/television show locked in a perpetual reboot cycle.

I think this will be on par with Big Fish and Sleepy Hollow. Some of this recent stuff has been bad, but I will probably see this one in theaters. It sucks his wife has another major role, she can't act her way out of a wet paper bag.

JatevinM@ It's not that, it's because Tim BUrton has gotten lazier and lazier and all of his films now use the same formula: evryones pale, their eyes pop-out alot, all the architecture is gothic, etc. It get's really boring after awhile.

Depp has in some cases shown great work but I totally despise him as a person, he is just a tool ever since POTC came out he has been acting like this big douchebag that wears makeup ALL the time and wears a scarf, with earrings, and speaks in this fake accent and has this fake hair. He has taken this "Rockstar" persona to the next level

I was interested until I read "vampires" and the fact that its an another version of something that already was.. Tim needs to get back on some of his own original stuff... When the heck is Frankenweenie coming out?

@JatevinM Now I agree with you why should they stop making movies just because some people on the internet told them to stop doing what they love doing.
