Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is a fresh twist on Jane Austen’s widely celebrated novel. A mysterious plague has fallen upon 19th century England, the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's period horror parody, and you can see the five Bennet sisters - Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Jane (Bella Heathcote), Elizabeth (Lily James), Mary (Millie Brady), and Kitty (Sukie Waterhouse) - in action on February 5, 2016.

Trailers don't do much for me. Seems to be taking itself far too seriously for a parody. But the cast is solid, so we'll see.

WWZ was diggity diggity dog shit. The book was so good, and gave a great format for a movie. After the event interviews, showing different stages of the struggle. Instead we got "Brad Pitt must save the day".

I loved that book, and when I saw the first trailer for the movie I wanted to punch something. You can't really get much further away from "we're telling the history of the zombie apocalypse via various small stories told in interviews" than "Brad Pitt has to save the world from the zombie apocalypse, for his family!". [frick] that movie!

Shit, this film still exists? Well, [frick] it. And yes, WWZ was pile of crap.

This, Zoolander 2, and Deadpool come out in the same day?

No lie, beginning to feel Deadpool won't do that well box office wise.

I really enjoyed the book (I also enjoyed AL:Vampire Hunter) but I do not have high hopes for this film.
I'm also struggling to understand how Green is going to direct The Flash with Ezra Miller (eye roll).

Horror parody? This film looks downright serious. Nothing wrong with that. Lily James can easily go from sweetheart to badass, I gotta give her credit.

Those girls are yummy!
Anyway Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter, while a great read, was a terrible movie. I'm expecting the same from this. But I'll watch because damn those girls look hot in their time period clothes.
