We'll see. Not bad! Max Brooks is a great author, how much control did he have in the movie?

Hmmm, I may give this one a chance. I do enjoy a good zombie flick, not too big of a fan of Brad Pitt, but this does have me interested in it. It kind of has that I Am Legend vibe to it. Well, we'll see soon. :)

Terrible. Yes, I'm going to say it - they've [frick]ed up a great book with a shit movie.

First of all, the zombies are all running in this. Second, it's "Brad Pitt saves the world from the Zombies" which completely undermines what the book was about.

WWZ could have been an awesome movie. The book provided the perfect way to frame the story with accounts of the zombie war. The film should start after civilisation has been restored, the "author" goes to a meeting where he's told he's been tasked collecting accounts of the war and then we follow him on this journey as he meets people, hear their accounts and we flashback to all the shit they went through.

Five or six different stories with the author being the bridge between them. End the movie with the author presenting his report and being told that they really only need the technical content, not personal stories. The author asks what he should do with the stories then and it's suggested that he write a book.

Simple, effective. But no...Brad Pitt has to save the world. WWZ wasn't about saving the world, it was about surviving it.

That looks pretty cool. I hope they use more practicle effects rather than all CGI. The part with the zombies climbing on top of each other is pretty crazy tho.

I haven't read the novel, but it looks ALRIGHT. But really, why Brad [frick]ing Pitt?

Im sorry guys. This looks like shit. Zombies in waves? THey made it more action so the film could be PG-13 when its supposed to be horror? THe book had this call of duty Zombies feel to it. Where he explains the whole history and of the outbreak and how signs of the dead coming back to life stretched thru history. Sorry man. Especially if we don;t get the battle where they played iron maiden the trooper to give troops morale. I jus dont like the fact that zombies are an overwhelming force. When in the book they are described as slow moving and all gray bodies. Basically the act like call of duty zombies. I'm done. [frick]ing Hollywood man. Leo would have done it right.

Well, I haven't read the book, but by the sounds of it, this just seems like another Brad Pitt star-vehicle instead of an adaptation of the novel according to what Vadakin said.

Not your average... slow moving zombies. They made them move way too fast that probably will ruin the movie.

@cipher - Yeah. With ya on that, bro. Part of me is saying, "It's an zombie-apocalyptic film! It looks pretty sweet. All the gore, the violence, and more." But then I'm thinking, "But does it have a solid good story? Is the cast strong and is their performance above average?" So, really, I'm on the fence on this. Can't decide.

But this?

Now that's a no-brainer, there. ;P
