In the new issue of Entertainment Weekly there is concept art for NBC's remake of The Munsters, which was renamed, "Mockingbird Lane." It features an updated look for Grandpa Munster, a role which will be played by the comedian/actor Eddie Izzard. There is also two looks at Grandpa's daughter Lily Munster, a role that has not yet been cast.

They will never find anyone as gorgeous as Yvonne DeCarlo. She MADE the role of Lily Munster.

I wouldn't say I'm excited but definitely interested to see this. I thought Pushing Daisies was awesome, a little cartoony but awesome. The concept of the house reminds me of Pushing Daisies.

Not crazy about the look or even the pitch...BUT it IS Bryan Fuller, and Pushing Daisies and Wonderfalls were both brilliant, bizarre, whimsical shows.

And Munsters IS supposed to be exactly that.

So we'll see....

The reruns were funny on UHF. It was pure camp.

There going in different direction here.
Maybe I'll watch the premiere n' see if it sucks or not.

Dude Superfrost....this show was always ruined. It was always a garbage piece of fluff meant for nothing more than a cheap cliche laugh.
