Mmmm. The trailer starts off very similar to the original but by the end has an entirely different vibe indeed. It seems to be marketed as a bit more of an action/Horror movie than the original was. Not necessarily a bad thing. I'm gonna remain cautiously optimistic about this one. Fans should dig the Morse code bit at the end!
Let Me In is written and directed by Matt Reeves, who's feature directorial debut was J.J. Abrams'
Cloverfield. This is a remake of Tomas Alfredson's 2008 film
Let the Right One In, but more specifically a re-adaptation of the Swedish novel Låt den rätte komma by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Overture Films is bringing Let Me In to theaters October 1st. There is a prequel graphic novel in the works too.
