While it's nothing more than coincidence, a lot of comic book movie actresses have been linked to the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet in the adaptation of graphic novel,
Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. And funnily enough, it's now down to
Green Lantern's Blake Lively, who played Carol Ferris in the critically panned DC Comics adaptation earlier this year. According to
Twitch, their sources tell them that director Craig Gillespie,
"has met with the Gossip Girl star and she has been offered the lead role in the film. Nobody seems to have a read yet if she will accept but if she does it will represent a significant change of pace for Lively while finally giving the film the marketable lead it has been struggling to find since day one." What do you guys make of this? While I was mostly impressed by Lively's performance in
The Town, she was perhaps one of my least favorite parts of
