iZOMBIE & MERLIN Star Bradley James Lands Villainous Role In UNDERWORLD 5
The upcoming action horror sequel Underworld 5 has added Merlin star and former iZombie actor Bradley James as a lead villain. Come check it out! The Anna Foerster-directed film hits theaters October 21 and also features the return of franchise star Kate Beckinsale.
Bradley James (Merlin; iZombie) has signed on to co-star as one of the lead villains in Screen Gems & Lakeshore Entertainment's upcoming fifth installment in the long-running Underworld franchise. Outside of being described as the film's male villain, details on his role are scarce, but we do know he'll be facing off against Kate Beckinsale (Stonehearst Asylum)'s Selene.
James is best known for his work as King Arthur Pendragon on the BBC One fantasy-adventure drama Merlin and was most recently seen on the CW zombie cop drama iZombie. He'll next be seen in the upcoming A&E series Damien, where he'll star in the titular role of Damien Thorn, the Antichrist.
Underworld 5 is set to kick off production this October in Prague. Anna Foerster (Source Code 2) is directing with a script from Cory Goodman (The Last Witch Hunter) and in addition to Beckinsale, Theo James (Divergent) and Tobias Menzies (Game Of Thrones) will also star.
No word yet on whether we'll see Scott Speedman (The Captive) or India Eisley (Underworld: Awakening) again.
