Mondo Unveils Brilliant New Poster For John Carpenter's HALLOWEEN

Halloween has come and gone, but Mondo were saving this beauty for the "Halloween: 35 Years of Terror" event which is taking place in Pasadena, California this Friday and Saturday. Check out a creepy image of Michael Myers after the jump.

Fans of John Carpenter's masterpiece will know that this image recalls a scene from the movie in which Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) briefly spies Myers watching her from a neighbor's back yard. Jock supplied the artwork, and the poster will be available at the Halloween: 35 Years of Terror convention over the weekend.

@ HBarnill, LOL, sorry Jason and the Friday The 13th franchise are a blatant ripoff of Michael Myers and Halloween. Michael Myers in Halloween 1 is a psychotic serial killer in a mask. Jason started off as a Michael Myers clone until he became a ridiculous monster that wouldn't die... ironically, that is what the Michael Myers character turned into in all of the sequels that followed the first film.

Damn that's a great poster, creepy as hell, what I like about the film is that it's one of those stories that can actually happen, "Mental patient escapes from mental institute, returns to home town and tries to kill family member". I remember reading a story in the news that was eerily similar, that's the genius of Halloween's original story.

One of my top 10 favorite Halloween posters. I love how the artist was able to capture the spirit of the film by using a classic scene from the movie.
