Damn TENNANT's a cool and good enough actor to maybe pull off Dr Strange (If Depp's out). Sure as hell could own it looking at that pic above!

I kinda like the way the original peter vincent looked. Old, worn out, past his prime. Not liking the edgy (we must appeal to a younger female demographic) kind of look.

He looks like Michael Sheen´s character in Underworld!

He isn't going to look like that throughout the film. He is in his magician getup and like the original Peter Vincent he is a fraud.
I have to question the intelligence of some of the people on here sometimes. Why are you complaining? how many late night horror show presenters are there these days? The film has been updated for the times. I am a huge fan of the original and I like the direction of this remake.

Sagemode: You said it all, buddy. I'll never understand Hollywood's vendetta against the 80s and the many great films of that decade.

@LeonardShelby-right you are! That's exactly what I gathered from what I've read about this remake. I mean, c'mon, like someone else said, how many late-night horror hosts are around these days? And if they were, do you really expect them to look like the Peter Vincent from the original Fright Night?

From what I've read, THIS Peter Vincent IS a Chris Angel knockoff, who, like the original Peter Vincent, is a fraud and DOES NOT believe in the supernatural even tho he professes to believe in it. Then when Charlie comes asking for his help, like the original, he'll come face to face with true evil, Jerry Dandridge.

I, for one, am really anticipating this remake. Some remakes of classics have actually surpassed the originals, this MAY be another. Look at Dawn of the Dead, The Hills Have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Last House On the Left, all far superior, in my opinion, to the originals. True, the originals to those movies were lacking in budget, acting, whatever, and the original Fright Night was a great film..in it's day. It could stand an update with todays effects, better acting, ect.

I loved the original movies....Evil Ed and Peter Vincent characters really made the movie funny and entertaining. Hey its been 26 years why not revist..."The Master will kill you for this, but not fast, slowly, ohhh so slowly! LMAO!

UMMM this movie looks decent (never better than the original) but why does he look like a mix of ROb Zombie an Criss Angel? Dont get me wrong I think Tennent is a great actor and i may enjoy his role the most but I guess I just miss the charisma Roddy McDowell brought to the role
