Such a creepy child like Damien, or Ester from Orphan or the always clever Chucky, hes not a child but he's a toy and thats Child-like

Its a bit too bright and glossy. Like the tagline though.

I liked the orginal movie. I'm not sure how this one is going to turn out. I have a feeling it's going to be like the American version of Rec was. flat.

I have this weird feeling this movie is gonna be all about the shock factor.

But is this a CBM??

Waaay too bright.

Looks like high noon for the love of GOB. I'm really leaning towards meh on this one. It doesn't help that I thought Cloverfield was a steaming pile of Ratner.

I liked cloverfield :(

I thought Cloverfield had its moments, but when you actually think about the imbecile carrying the camera and how he would have flung it about 5 mins into the film. Yeah, I'm glad that guy was eaten.

Awww MsKyle

How come? :)

I just thought it was completely ridiculous and unbelievable. And I'm not talking about the monster. I understand suspending disbelief for movies, but if you're gonna make the movie as if it was true events, then the monster should be the only thing that defies logic. The characters were lame, and acted retarded. And what are the odds of everyone AND THE CAMERA surviving a helicopter crash? Boooo! Good for you if you liked it though. At least you got something for your money.

HAhAHAhA yeah

what Ror said. That guy was a total fkn clown shoe. And what's with the main guy? He watches his own brother die and barely gives a shit. But he's willing to walk thru a warzone, risking his life and others, for a girl he spent one night with? Hollywood man, stop pretending to know what reality is like.

I will wait to judge until I see it, I still have a little bit of hope that they will make it at least close to as good as the original.

in the past, hollywood waited a few years before stealing foreign films, now its like oh that was last year?..cool lets americanize it by making it less plot driven, more cg,and prettier actors, by "american standards" of beauty anyway...the girl with the dragon tattoo came out like what,2 months ago,and we are already remaking it?..but in an era with reboots, while the original is barely being released on blu-ray what do you expect.

joncochino-- they even do it with english speaking movies

BillyBlack-- I always wondered how the girl of his dreams got out of the building the party was in, across town, back up into her apartment on the hundredandsomethingeth floor by way of stairs, so much ahead of the main guy when they were together at the same party to begin with.
BillyBlack

Exactly Betty

The more I think about it, the more it appears that the monster was the most believable part of the movie.

@Ror - Ah touché. I guess it is comic related then. lol

Cloverfield made me leave the theatre midway and barf. No, really. I can't handle shaky cameras. I did the same thing in Blare Wicth Project. Bleh.

I like it, but the newest one that was done is much better (the picture of her all curled up on a dark red stained carpet works better for such a dark film IMO).

@BillyBlack & Betty- It was for those reasons that I didn't watch the movie in the first place.

@aFanGirlsGuide- I know how you feel. I had Motion Sickness most of my young life. Up until I was about 13/14, I couldn't read my favourite comics in the car or on the bus. It sucked so bad on long car trips.
