I think that there is a horrifying alternate universe where these movies are the most popular films of all time.

And Milla Jovovich lives there.

And no one from CBM is around *tumbleweed*

So what about that 3-hour Director's Cut of The Avengers being re-released in August?

...i don't understand what people's problem with these resident evil movies. atleast we can watch a bunch of chicks kick some zombie asses instead of a movie that is just a pure sausage fest...

@durf, just shows how different people are, I hated the first two and while not being a fan of any of them thought three and four were not as bad haha. Wish they would have stuck to the first few games story though

Damn so many whiners if u don't like them stop watching them! And obviously more people like these movie than people who hate them since they keep doing better and better! Who the heck cares if there not exactly like the games it would be boring watching the same thing u played. I think these movies are awesome and can't wait for this one!

After this one, I think we just have to suffer through one more.

Then hopefully the RE movie franchise gets the reboot treatment.

At the very end of the teaser Alice was fighting Jill. Jill Valentine being brought back will make this movie suck less.

Instead of judging these movies based on the awesome game franchise, judge them as a stand alone franchise...

Too bad they still suck. Popcorn zombie flic, that is all. Milla is hot!

I don't get it....if you don't like the movie or plan to see it, then why did you come to this page?

I like zombie films and I like this series. I don't care if its not like the game, name a game to movie adaption where it was....

I still don't understand how Carlos & Rain are in this....they died in previous movies. I think it's stupid to bring them back. They prolly will have some explanation on why but whatever. Just my thought...

I LOVE these movies & love Milla. She said in an interview for Afterlife that they're doing these for the fans, which there are clearly plenty of for this film franchise. She also said she'll do as many of these as she can.

^ I saw that interview, I really think they are trying to fill up the pieces that were very bad from Afterlife and make it better. I've heard that this will have a story and less stupid slow motion action like in Afterlife. And yes, Jill Valentine is back (in battlesuit?!? How the hell did this happen?) and even Rain Ocampo is back - so this might be a good one, hopefully a mix of Apocalypse and the first movie. Those were the best ones!

Even if Rain was'nt in the games, I really like this character - even more than Alice. She is a bad-ass and reminds me a little bit of Hunk

@JillValenfield At the end RE: Afterlife it showed this scene with her:

She has the P30 device on her chest from the RE5 video game. I guess in between the movie timeline of RE: Apocalypse and RE: Extinction, Wesker kidnapped her.

I'm sure it will all be explained in the movie. And Apocalypse wasn't too bad. Bringing in Jill Valentine made it one of the better RE movies. It was cool to see the Nemesis on the big screen too. He would always scare the hell out of me when I was playing Resident Evil 3. The fact he could speak, and would keep saying, "S.T.A.R.S." just made him that much more menacing.

@riseofLOGANX36, hey you're back!

Personally, I don't like these movies because they suck. I never played the games, I don't care to, I'm not big in the Asian culture's idea of zombies. It's sort of silly to me. That said just because they make money and keep making sequels doesn't mean they're considered good. A lot of movies out there that have a lot of sequels and suck look at Jurassic Park, first one pretty good the rest blew, but hey, they made a shit ton of money.

Can't wait for Retribution. Loved all the Resident Evil movies. Extinction kinda sucked though, but liked the idea of having Dr Isaacs turn into the Tyrant.

@mgeoff88, that's so right! They showed it in Afterlife after the credits. It's so similar to battlesuit Jill but I don't know, I still prefer the original one (from the video games) but Sienna is an incredible actress (loved helen of troy)

Btw, Nemesis is my favorite villain but they really did something wrong with him. In the videogames he was extremly terrible and I loved it. The movie version was...well I liked the idea of Matt's evolution but he was'nt that scary and awesome as the "real" one. I mean, come on! Since when did Nemesis have feelings. He was a killing machine!

That's an awesome picture there :) I've changed my avatar to it. Looks nice! Thanks!

Milla? I would think it was the writing, directing, you know the things that actually make a movie.

@JillValenfield Yah, it isn't the same Battlesuit Jill. I've given up on this movies doing justice to the video games. But at least we get see our favorite characters from the games on the big screen(wasn't impressed with Chris Redfield).

I've just seen her in RE: Apocalypse. I really liked Sienna as Jill Valentine. One of the few highlights of that movie. I agree, the Nemesis wasn't as scary as he was in the video games, which is a shame. It made sense with the story being connected to the first movie, but still.

That does looks nice. And no problem. :)
