The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

The first one was a reasonably good popcorn movie, the second one was alright but you could see the cracks forming.
The third one was lost, it pretty much should have ended the series.
4 was a total disaster, I can't imagine this one doing anything for the franchise, it is un-salvageable at this point.

Just make 'Resident Evil 5' into a movie and I'll sleep in front of the theater the night before.

That Umbrella logo in the water is a nice touch, but the poster in general is meh.

The whole thing with the video games is to stop a viral outbreak from spreading across the globe. In the movies that has already happened. It's like they already lost.

@headlopper Zoe Saldana for Shevah ;)

They should remake them just like the games...fixed cameras & puzzles. Horrible dialogue & full frontal shots of Jill Valentine when you walk in doors

Pretty tacky poster, this film will suck, but I just know I'll watch it, buy it, and watch it again when i'm sad so I can laugh.

@Gaston I think they where trying to show all the major cities around the world that people would recognise. @Redbackspider if a zombie outbreak happened I would totally move to Australia. I need to go watch the trailer, but I always thought these movies were fun to watch.

@LOGANXX35 - The first one was watchable only because it was the first try. The second was the biggest piss of shit I have ever seen. The third was alright. The forth was bad, at least not as bad as the second, but not as good as the third. You know what's the problem of the movies? They are too much like the games. Only the third was different and that was ok.
