Thanks to the Resident Evil Xtreme English Facebook page we have these new pictures from the set of Resident Evil: Retribution. The new pictures gives us a glimpse at what could be a possible return of the characters to Raccoon City. The city was destroyed with a missile in the second movie in an attempt to contain the T-Virus. Another interesting possibility is that the mansion seen in one of the pictures could that be the same from the first game?

Thanks to nailbiter111 for the heads up.

Based on the famous video games franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution is the fifth movie in the series and has on the cast Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Boris Kodjoe, Johann Urb, Kevin Durand, Shawn Roberts, Michelle Rodriguez, Oded Fehr and Colin Salmon confirmed and is set to come in September 14, 2012 in 3D!

After this they need to reboot the series, and base the movies more off of the games.

paul w.s anderson completely shit on the source material. except for certain things such as names of characters, name of town and organisation, this is loosely based. and i mean from the tiniest thread. they say he worked closely with capcom, who the security guard down in the foyer, because if this was my game and it was being made into a movie, the first movie would have been based in that mansion for a good 1/2 to 3/4 of the time of the movie, and no way would alice be in that movie, that being said, i dont hate the movies,i actually enjoy them, but i just dont like how they call them resident evil films.
