SAW X Poster Spotlights The Jigsaw Killer's Most Twisted Trap Yet

We recently got a first glimpse of Tobin Bell as the returning John Kramer in Saw X, and this new poster highlights what might be the Jigsaw Killer's most twisted trap yet...

We recently got a first look at Tobin Bell as the returning John Kramer, aka the Jigsaw Killer, in an official promo still, and Lionsgate (via FearHQ.com) has now debuted a new theatrical poster for the tenth instalment in the long-running Saw franchise.

The one-sheet features one of Jigsaw's unfortunate victims "playing" the twisted murderer's latest games.

We're not sure exactly how this trap is going to work, but something tells us very bad things (either live animals or some kind of corrosive substance) are going to be inserted into those tubes.

Check out the poster at the link below.

Saw X will be set between the events of the first two movies, and focus on "a sick and desperate John travelling to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of a miracle cure for his cancer — only to discover the entire operation is a scam to defraud the most vulnerable."

"Armed with a newfound purpose, the infamous serial killer returns to his work, turning the tables on the con artists in his signature visceral way through devious, deranged and ingenious traps."

It sounds like they might be attempting to spin Jigsaw as more of an avenging anti-hero than an outright villain here, which may prove to be an interesting take.

The tenth installment in the popular horror franchise is directed by Kevin Greutert (Saw VI, Saw VII) from a screenplay by Peter Goldfinger (Jigsaw, Spiral) and Josh Stolberg.

The cast also includes Synnove Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez, Joshua Okamoto, and Octavio Hinojosa, with Shawnee Smith set to reprise the role of Jigsaw's right-hand woman, Amanda Young.

Are you looking forward to another Saw movie, or do you think the franchise has run its course? Let us know in the comments section.

You know they 100 % regret killing off Tobian Bell in saw 3, but I do have to give them credit for somehow trying to bring him back.

@CurlyBill - half the following films are flashbacks just to bring him back. Now a movie called saw 10 is somehow before saw 3.

I've never seen any of these movies and I never will. How come this franchise gets 10 movies but Brokeback Mountain gets one.

@WEAPONXOXOXO - Well if you ever watched the movies you would know why there's 10 of them.

And what do you want a Brokeback Mountain sequel for. One character is dead, one actor is dead, and the mountain is still just there letting people rawdog on it if they must. Not much more story to tell.

@Pathogen - I have no idea what that means. I'm not a republican or...or the other one. Or made of snow?
Snowflake means I'm one of a kind? Or your mother likes it in the ass?
What? Is English your first language?

Murder porn is actually quit tacky now. Unoriginal and gross.

@JobinJ - I never would've thought the 10th entry in a franchise would be unoriginal.

It doesn't make him out to be an anti-hero any more than for any other particular trap against bad people he's made before. At any rate, the basic plot is not all that different to Saw 6, from the same director. But we'll have to see cause this one so far sounds more centered around John, which hasn't really happened as the main plot of any of them, so I imagine we'll get a lot more Tobin Bell in this one.

Love these movies. I genuinely hope they never quit making them

Back in the day (before the Amazing Spider-Man movies), I wrote a fan script for a Tobey/Raimi Spidey 4, with Tobin Bell as Vulture. I had worked out this whole subplot of Adrian Toomes being this seemingly nice older man who begins courting Aunt May and helping her fix stuff around her house since Peter is always busy. Peter actually likes him at first, even if he has trouble accepting a new man in May's life, but Toomes wins him over. But of course you know, villains gonna villain.

Tobin Bell was also my pick for a dark take on Mr. Freeze.
