SHERLOCK & EDGE OF TOMORROW Actress Lara Pulver Signs On For UNDERWORLD 5
In another bit of casting news, Sherlock and Edge Of Tomorrow actress Lara Pulver has joined Kate Beckinsale in Screen Gems & Lakeshore's upcoming Underworld sequel. Come check it out! The Anna Foerster-directed film hits theaters October 2016.
Following her turn as Irene Adler on the second season of BBC's crime mystery drama Sherlock, actress Lara Pulver has now decided to head to the land of the dead as she's signed on to star in Screen Gems & Lakeshore Entertainment's upcoming fifth installment in their long-running Underworld film series.
She joins a cast that features the return of franchise star Kate Beckinsale (Stonehearst Asylum) and will also feature Theo James (Divergent), Tobias Menzies (Game Of Thrones), and Bradley James (iZombie). Production on the film is expected to kick off this October in Prague with Anna Foerster (Outlander) directing.
Outside of being known for her work on Sherlock, Pulver is also known for her main roles on Starz's Da Vinci's Demons and BBC One's MI-5. She's also appeared on HBO's True Blood and after having her scenes cut, had a non-speaking cameo in Tom Cruise's Edge Of Tomorrow.
