Dammit, I want to see Pym in his lab creating Ultron on screen

I hope the MCU goes back in time one day, or just reboots and does that, such awesome stories there

But, I'll settle for McAvoy as Victor Von Frankenstein for now, haha

yeah, if hollywood could stop butchering Frankenstein, that would be great.

DrKinsolving - That would be awesome, Pym creating Ultron and then breaking down after seeing what he did the world. That's what was missing from Age of Ultron, Tony didn't seem too phased by the abomination he created IMO. Heck Cap got more crap for saying "language" than Tony did for creating Ultron!

Haha, exactly! I always loved that Pym/Ultron/Janet relationship and dynamic from the comics, and there's always been a horror/monster element to Ultron for me. Ah, AOU needed Pym, imo, that would have added so much for me, Pym is such a great character. I tried telling myself that it worked without him, but it didn't, Ultron isn't Stark, and Stark isn't Pym. Marvel earned some major strikes for that one, in my book, ha

DrKinsolving - Yeah, they did quite a few things wrong in AoU. I mean I liked it, but it was disappointing how things turned out. I also liked Michael Douglas as Pym, but I'll always imagine what could have been if Whedon had actually included Pym and Janet in The Avengers. Had he actually done that we could have gotten Pym in AoU, although I'm not sure what would happen to Ant-Man.

Honestly, Stark creating Ultron made sense in the MCU (to me at least). But the execution was all wrong, especially with Ultron's personality being similar to that of Starks. It prevented me from taking him seriously, especially with this scene: ?t=35s

He was so serious during his introduction, but then he went off tangent and made a fool of himself. I don't know what Whedon was thinking when he made Ultron this way.

Stark was just plain unlikable in AOU. When ever anyone called him out on what he unleashed, he just acted like a defensive asshole about it. In the comics you could tell the guilt of creating Ultron took a toll on Hank. Personally I can't wait for Cap to beat up Iron-man. At least after they make a few more elevator jokes.

I remember being pleasantly surprised when DeNiro played an awesome version of the monster.
