This movie will either be a sleeper hit or massive bomb.

It does bother me that the zombies have been hidden in most cases. If you didn't know the source material you would think that people were just infected similar to 24 Days Later. You don't get much outside of the zombies climbing the walls. This movie might get me in just out of curiousity.

Why did they even bother to buy the movie rights to the book when the plot is fairly different, they could have just named it any old shit

Gusto- Looks like downtown on devils night. I do think its funny how we have to have an emergency manager to tell us what we already know... too many people moved out of the city so its not getting its tax revenue to sustain its operating costs. Dur.

As for this movie... meh. Too many apocaplyspe films going on right now to make it really stand out.

I just LOVE when folks who didn't even see this movie call it shit. There have been films in the past which had productions problems and turn out good and made money. That's like calling Man of Steel shit and it not even out yet. Could it be that some supes fans are hating cause it might take a little revenue from MOS?
I'm NOT hating on Supes cause I will see it and own 3 of his films on Bluray, but ST:ID, FF6, AE with Will Smith, WWZ, MU, LR, DM2, PR and Wolverine are all going to hurt MOS revenue.

@ Monkeyballs- If MOS had major,major problems. Reshoots. Rewrites and NO major studio would touch, would you still see it of call it a shit movie?

Oh no nibs you used the 'R' word. Brittany Spears or Spencer Pratt are about to come out of nowhere and lecture you on how insulting the 'R' word is then insult you themselves, leaving you too stunned to retort. Be forwarned my friend!

@Manro

All of those films you listed will hurt MOS revenue? Thats like saying Oblivion and 42 would hurt Ironman 3's revenue. If MOS lives up to its hype people will see it.

I don't think it will get IM3 numbers but it will finish around what IM and IM2 made which should make it the second biggest film of the summer.

After hearing what regular people thought of the movie I think this is going to surprise a lot of people by how good it will be.
