In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

Starring Jane Levy, Jessica Lucas, Shiloh Fernandez and Lou Taylor Pucci, Evil Dead is set to hit theatres on April 5, 2013.

Why remake this? If you have good ideas make your own g*dd@mn movie. Stop killing classics

it's by Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell and the other original producers, same writers as well I think, though they don't directly call it that, this film is more of a sequel than a prequel!! For once this is a "remake" that won't be killing the classic!

horror movies are for teenagers , They just don't do it for me anymore. I think most of use go through the whole " horror movie fascination " but the classics are still classic.

"horror movies are for teenagers " - yeah, not like comic book movies, which are made with the mature adult in mind.

As much as I dislike the idea, the fact that Sam Raimi is on it makes me feel a little more comfortable
