With just over a month to go until
Zombieland: Double Tap, Sony Pictures has debuted a cool new featurette for the long-awaited Ruben Fleischer-directed (
Venom) horror/comedy sequel.
The film, which was written by original scribes Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick with additional contribution from David Callaham (
Wonder Woman 1984), features the return of America's favorite post-apocalyptic family played by 3x Academy Award-nominee Woody Harrelson (
Venom), Academy Award-nominee Jesse Eisenberg (
Justice League), Academy Award-winner Emma Stone (
Maniac) and Academy Award-nominee Abigail Breslin (
Scream Queens).
New faces joining the franchise include, but are not limited to, Zoey Deutch (
Set It Up), Avan Jogia (
Shaft), Rosario Dawson (
Daredevil), Thomas Middleditch (
Silicon Valley) and Luke Wilson (
Old School). Plus, Dan Aykroyd (
Ghostbusters) and Bill Murray (yes, really) are also set to make cameo appearances as fictionalized versions of themselves.
While a new theatrical trailer should be with us any day now, the latest featurette does contain some fresh footage from the upcoming sequel.
