Many Marvel Fanboys have been disappointed in Iron Man 3. Maybe beacause of its lack of a satisfying climax. If a fourth Iron Man film is to be made, it should be filled with action, epic battles, and great character dynamics. It must also feature more of James Rhodes offensive capabilities in battles. Also it must include villains that will not only challenge Iron Man's firepower, but also his spirit. Here's my take on Iron Man 4.
IRON MAN 4
After the fallout of Age of Ultron, the world lost its trust in Stark Industries and Tony Stark himself. An old rival company emerges from the downfall of Stark Industries – Hammer Industries. Led by Sasha Hammer, Justin Hammer’s daughter, Hammer Industries influence is stronger than ever.
Meanwhile, Stark is being haunted by one of his greatest nightmare, The Legacy of Obadiah Stane. Obadiah’s son, Ezekiel “Zeke” Stane, returns after a long absence with one purpose on his mind – vengeance for his father’s death.
The terrorist group
Ten Rings is expanding operations and is holding Trevor Slattery in captivity because of his blasphemous portrayal of the Ten Ring’s leader, The Mandarin. Back at Stark Industries, Stark is visited by Stane. He has a proposal that will help regain Stark Industries to its former glory and introduces
Tem Borijin, a wealthy Chinese investor. After a long discussion, Stark declined. Before leaving the premises, Stane planted a virus called
Technovore at the building’s system. Technovore affects every software that is connected to its host. After Stane and Borijin left, Ten Rings invaded Stark Industries. Tony suited up and launched a counter attack but the virus caused his armor to malfunction which resulted in 12 employees dead. Before being completely beaten, Hammer Industries’
Detroit Steel corps, Hammer Industries new peacemakers, come to the rescue and defeated the terrorists.
Tony is forced to resign and leave Stark Industries in Pepper’s leadership because of the incident. He then begins a secret investigation about the virus with the help of Maria Hill and
Bethany Cabe, an old flame of his and his past head of security. Their investigation led them to a hidden basement under Hammer Industries’ HQ where Tony found Stane. Stane reveals to Stark that he knows the truth about his father’s death. The two fought. Tony suits up. Stane revealed that he modified his Hypothalamus gland which resulted in superhuman strength and granted him the ability to fire repulsor blasts from his fingers. The virus caused Tony’s armor to malfunction and Stane won the duel. After a while, members of the Ten Rings came and apprehended Stark but before being captured, he launched a signal that can only be decoded by Stark Industries.
Back at Stark Industries, Cabe received the signal and informed Hill, Pepper, and Col. James Rhodes a.k.a. Warmachine about it. At the Ten Ring’s lair, Tony is imprisoned at a cell with Trevor Slattery. They are then approached by Stane accompanied with Sasha Hammer. They are revealed to be working together to destroy Stark and now they have succeeded. Stane told Stark that the Technovore can function as a bomb and that he will set it off at the right time. After that, Stane then approached a man in shadows who is then revealed to be Tem Borijin.
Borijin is the real Mandarin and he hired Stane to provide arsenal for Ten Rings and create a weapon of mass destruction for him. The Mandarin has mystical rings that are worn on each finger with different powers. The rings are passed down from generation to generation. Stane informed Mandarin that the weapon completion is still below 50%. Infuriated, the Mandarin uses one of his rings to hurt Stane’s mind and calls him worthless. Stane then mutters to himself that when everything is done, he will kill the Mandarin himself. The Mandarin then orders Stark to help in building the weapon and that if he cross him, he will destroy everything he holds dear.
After two months, Stark and Stane completed the weapon. The Mandarin then revealed that he will use it to conquer USA then the world. Tony then talked to Stane privately about why he is following the Mandarin then Stane revealed that the Mandarin implanted a bomb in his chest. Stark offered to take the bomb out of him in exchange for his help in defeating the Mandarin. Stane accepted the offer then Tony started the operation while the Mandarin is occupied. The operation is successful and Stane puts on a suit that prevents the repulsor from burning his skin.
Cabe decodes the signal that Stark sent and heads off to Malibu Point at the site of Stark’s old house. Beneath the ground, a black and gold suit of armor is revealed to be kept there free from the Technovore virus. The suit is then activated and heads off to locate Stark’s repulsor signature. Warmachine followed it. They are brought in a hidden warehouse of Hammer Industries where Warmachine fought some Detroit Steel corps while Cabe and Hill fought against members of the ten Rings that intercepted them.
The Black armor then reaches Stark and he suits up. Warmachine found him and Stane. Then Tony asks Rhodes to get Trevor Slattery out of there. After defeating some grunts, The Mandarin learned of Stark and Stane’s mutiny. After an epic one-on-two battle, Stane is incapacitated and the Mandarin activates the weapon which is revealed to be
ULTIMO. Wounded, the Mandarin flees to ULTIMO and uses his rings to power it up. Tony goes after him.
After a long and hard-fought battle, ULTIMO is destroyed but the Mandarin is still alive and parts of the city are destroyed. Both weakened, Tony and the Mandarin prepares for one final blow before someone puts a hole in the Mandarin’s head, killing him. That someone is revealed to be Ezekiel Stane and he tells Stark that with the Mandarin dead, their alliance is over and that he is ready to exact revenge for his father’s death.
Tony and Stane fought. After the struggle, Tony gains the upper hand but Stane sets the Technovore virus to detonate within Stark Industries while Pepper Potts is still in there. Tony rushes to Stark Industries to save Pepper while Sasha Hammer secretly rescues Stane. Tony then saw Pepper from her office with a phone. Pepper sees him but couldn’t hear him. Before Tony could reach her, the building explodes. Tony was thrown away by the blast. Tony couldn’t save Pepper.
Tony and his friends mourn the loss of Pepper with Stark blaming himself. After weeks of absence, Tony calls for a press conference and decides to rebuild his company. He renames it as
RESILIENT. When asked about why he is not naming it after himself, Tony stated:
“This company is not about me. It is about building a bright future for the people that I need to protect… and for the memories of the ones that I couldn’t”
Aaaand that's it! My idea for an Iron Man 4 movie. What do you guys think?
