Is Anyone Else Sick Of Tony Stark Being So Integral In The Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Let me explain...

Let me put it this way, I dont like that Tony Stark is so involved with everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe... and it is pretty clear (for me anyway) that one of the only reasons is that Marvel wants to build an interconnected universe, so they are just using what they have so far to buiild it.

I understand that Robert Downey Jr./Tony Stark is the posterboy for The Avengers lead up films, but I feel like EVERYTHING points back to Tony Stark. I understand Thor and Cap have both been referenced in Iron Man 2, but look...

So far we know...

1. Stark has a Captain America S.H.I.E.L.D prototype, and coincidentally Tony's father happened to know Steve Rogers, and it is strongly rumored Howard Stark made the shield for Cap.

2. The Iron Man 2 Blu-ray reveals that Tony Stark was involved with the Gamma Radiation experiment that turned Bruce Banner into The Incredible Hulk.

3. Stark is now presumably helping put The Avengers together, with help from General Ross hinted.

4. Annoyingly, in the Thor Comic-Con trailer it shows a scene of Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson being asked if the Destroyer is one of Starks inventions. I am sorry, but isnt that a little random to ask at a time like that? It obviously is just there to promote The Avengers.

I dont mean to sound like a nitpicker, but I just hate that Tony Stark and even the Stark family is so involved with seemingly everything in these films so far. I wish they would maybe introduce certain new characters to be behind these things, how much could Tony Stark have done anyway?

One of the major problems with Stark being so invovled with all this stuff is it takes away some of the realism (with a HUGE world like the MARVEL UNIVERSE, you would think a single man no matter if he was TONY STARK or PETER PARKER would not have so much to do with the other characters) and also, using Stark all the time takes away from the opportunities to introduce new characters that could help expand this universe.

What is next, Stark made the "Iron Fist" and he also made Ultimo? Uh....
