Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Marvel Studios will also release “Thor: The Dark World ” on November 8, 2013; “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” on April 4, 2014; “Guardians of the Galaxy” on August 1, 2014; the sequel to “Marvel's The Avengers” on May 1, 2015; and “Ant-Man” on November 6, 2015!

Wow ! Too bad that they couldn't show all of em' in the movie ! The movie was awesome through ! Would have been great if they shown the Hall of Armors .

IM3 was poorly paced, I found myself laughing because the audience did, and there was a series lack of Tony being Ironman. The action was good, but this movie is not a great start for phase 2. Don't even get me started on super Pepper. Good thing we still have MOS & Thor left this year.

Film is a very nice 7/10 for me. Iron Man 1 is a 9.5/10 while Iron Man 2 is a 6/10.

Its sad really. Rebecca Hall is a fantastic actress completely wasted here. Ditched by Tony at the start and then murdered by Killian. Great character arc.

Kingsley is all comic relief and personally, as mad as I was about the horrible twist, I did enjoy the jokes they had with him. Still was so let down.

The kid is easily one of the worst parts of the film, although he bring some of the best jokes of the film. The "fathers leave, don't be a p***** about it" joke was freaking genius. I was hoping they would stay on course away from the cliche inspiration stuff but no they did it. The kid talking Stark out of an anxiety attack is one of the stupidest things ever in a CBM. I'm sorry it was.

FANTASTIC action set pieces, kudos to the final battle and making Pepper a pretty badass love interest.

The great action and humor cannot mask a horrible plot, horrible twists, horrible new characters, horrible ending, and horrible after credits scene.

Was just so let down by it overall.

Intruder is [frick]ing drunk. The Mandarine was butchered so [frick]ing bad. By far the worst portrayal of a villain in comic book history. Other than that and a few other gripes it was a good film. 7/10

Killian was the mandarin ! The twist didn't bother. The tons of plot holes bugged me and the ending. Why did he blow up the suits?? And so did he use the extremist on himself or not? The film is never clear on that

MartinMarvel, because action and comedy mean a lot....in a film WITH PRIMARILY ACTION AND COMEDY.

Parts were horrible to me, but nowhere did I say it was the shittiest film on earth. A 7/10 is a good score and the marvel fans still find a way to get mad at me.

Do people need to insult other films to make themselves feel better?

TDKR and Iron Man 3 both have above 75% on RT. NEITHER ARE BAD FILMS.

@thewonderer I give it an 8/10 but I'm not a hard grader when it comes to CBMs cuz I pretty much enjoy all of them for the most part. Except GL. That movie left a really bad taste in my mouth. Idk why you catch a lot of flack on here. I don't think you're trying to be antagonistic or anything.

I loved the movie but the one thing I absolutely HATED was that he destroyed his suits. Why? All those beautiful armors, gone. :'(

What the hell was putting all of these suits in the movie? We literally saw them for 20 seconds before Tony Stark blew them all up. Disappointing movie.

Am i the only one who thought IM3 was a bit rubbish, i had such high hopes coz shane black - good, kingsley- great, Pearce - Great, Downey Jnr - good but christ i was ready to leave the theatre within 30-40 mins. All the IM films havnt had a good villain or a decent finale. the extremis soldiers wer incredibly poorly built up n the mandarin was just weak

How people can actually defend the twist with the Mandarin is flabbergasting. It felt so out of place in the movie it hurts my brain just thinking about it. I thought we were giving Iron Man a great villain for the first time and he turns out to be a joke.
