Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man? Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce & Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968. “Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures & DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing & Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee & Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film hits May 3, 2013, & is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Seeing them side by side like that makes me not like the new armor too much. It's kind of cool, but the Mark VII was near perfect. Not a fan of the color scheme and helmet changes on the new one. Should be fine though

Two new toys have already hit the shelves by me, those 12" figures where you push the button and it says some phrase from the movie, the color scheme looks good and was thought Iron Patriot was another character but they are playing it off as War Machine decided to change his name after getting new armor.

Is it me or does the bust for the new armor look to have the triangle arc reactor again ?

The bust almost looks like a different armor. Multiple shades of gold.

Folks, I wonder if the last shot is the final armor. The composite he builds, maybe in hiding.

@BANE5000 the inside of Tony's arc reactor was always triangular since IM2. The only thing that changed from IM2 to Avengers was the triangular window on the actual suit.

All the same old same old but in a different colour is all...

That bust would of looked so much better with full length arms as well...

i wonder if Avengers 2 will be the last appearance of Iron Man. I doubt they'll do a fourth movie.

@ hazmat

Rdj's contract is up after Iron Man 3. If he is going to be in Avengers 2 then he will more than likely have to sign a new contract, and Marvel will probably want him to sign for more than one more movie.

Is it me, or do the changes to the corners of the 'mouth' on the new suit kinda make him look like a sad mime?

Not feeling this new suit at all. Only hope it is not in the movie for long. My favourite is sill the Mark IV.
