I hope he wears a different kind of armor for the 3rd installment, they should interpret demon in the bottle on film too, that would be awesome.

@brazilianbatman Yes...well...if Warners ever do make Justice League I think it has to be the best superhero film ever. It won't automatically get that title of course but it needs to strive to earn it. For me, Justice League needs to be the be all and end all of superhero films. It needs to be so awesome that it can never be topped.

It won't be. Perfection is an impossible dream but that's what every film needs to aim for, be it Justice League, Batman, Avengers or Iron Man. If it doesn't, if they half ass it and treat it as a commodity...well you end up with Catwoman.

I do not think the third film is better than before. The aftermath leaves much to be desired. Does not meet expectations.

Iron Man is one of the best CBMs ever. It'll be hard for this one to have the magic touch. IM2 was disappointing.

Mandarin or gtfo!

I clicked further in the video to let it load from there instead of the beginning. Soon as I press play, first thing I hear:

"YOu know....I'm not un-proud of my buttocks."

Gotta love RDJ...

@TayDee I agree. I liked Iron Man and of course I have the DVD but, It's far from epic. It's a good CBM to watch.

@Marvel72 agreed. same here fingers crossed.
And to all u guys and gals that think hes including the Avengers in that list of scripts iron man 3 is better than, I think hes jus comparing to the iron man series i.e iron man 1 and 2.

p.s Jeffrey Meek for Magneto in a Marvel Studios X-Men, only if wishes were true.
NeoBaggins

Yeah, Iron Man 1 is a fun little film. Iron Man 2 is good too despite the universal hatred. It just does a few things wrong that really stains it. The overall production and performances actually dwarf the first Iron Man. It's the silly choices made near the end of the film that kills it. It could have EASILY surpassed the first Iron Man.

"And to all u guys and gals that think hes including the Avengers in that list of scripts iron man 3 is better than, I think hes jus comparing to the iron man series i.e iron man 1 and 2."-Ace101

Nah, he meant the Avengers too. I believe he said something to the effect of IM3's script being the best he's read in 5 years. He hasn't been reading Iron Man scripts for five years. He means period.

@marvel72 - agreed 100%, IM1 is the best CBM to date IMO.
Minghagz
Minghagz - 12/15/2011, 6:44 AM
IM1 is a little overrated... I love the film but I just never got the hype about it? To me, it's good up until about the battle with IM and Obadiah... from there it kind of went downhill for me. I like my films to have an epic ending. I think Thor had a pretty epic ending and TIH. Hell, even CAT:FA had a more epic ending. Overall though the build up of the story in IM is amazing. Now before anyone gets all butt hurt that I stated my opinion and starts posting hate comments... just realize that this is my opinion.

And now to comment about RDJ's comment... He's probably happy because this IM3 will give him the most screentime :p
He's a phenomenal actor but sometimes gets full of himself

RacerREX - 12/15/2011, 7:27 AM
If IM1 ain't the best then it's definitely in the top 3 cbm of all time to date.

@Ace101 Did Whedon develop the script while filming the Avngers? I don't know. I heard he jotted some dialog down on the spot while filming.
