DC's Next Animated Film Will Be JUSTICE LEAGUE: THRONE OF ATLANTIS

While it may not have lived up to the previous DC animated flicks, Justice League: War was a hit with most fans, allowing DC to restart their animated properties. And now, as teased in the film's after credits scene, the sequel will pit Superman and co against the Atlanteans. Check it out.

The website World's Finest Online has gotten an exclusive look at the cover for the upcoming Batman: Assault on Arkham, and it has revealed that the sequel to last year's Justice League: War will be titled Justice League: Throne of Atlantis. It looks evident that the film will center around the Atlanteans attacking the surface world after Darkseid's attack on earth left their kingdom in ruin.

What do you think? Did you enjoy Justice League: War and will you be watching the sequel? Sign off your thoughts in the usual place!

An alien attack threatening cataclysmic worldwide devastation brings together the world’s greatest super heroes – for the first time. Justice League: War stars Alan Tudyk as Superman, Jason O'Mara as Batman, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Justin Kirk as Green Lantern, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Travis Willingham as Shazam and Steve Blum as Darkseid. The Dark Knight Returns director Jay Olivia will direct.

The world, nay the universe, laughs at anything with Hal Jordan in it.

Haven't enjoyed the DC animated flicks since Flashpoint. Guess I'll have to get use to the reimagining.

Hopefully it's better than the last two DC Animated films. And is it too much to ask that we get some non Batman or Justice League films down the road?

@B&Y - Not yet. This is just the courting process. Hal is a demanding piece. He doesn't accept his role as Queen until Aquaman buys him a Lexus and agrees to wear that bronie sex mask thing.

Justice League War was one of my least favorite offerings from the DC animated universe. I didn't care for the storyline or the personalities of the characters. I think the Cyborg origin was the only redeeming part of the entire film. I'm not happy with this continuity thing they have going now...especially since Justice League War is the base of it all. Ugh!

yoss, that makes sense. Hal Jordan is like one of those girls that was a huge slut in college and then gets out in the real world and tries to pretend she's wife material. Hal has been flying around the galaxy getting all that space dick and now he's back on Earth trying to land himself a husband.

Don't know about anyone else but I'm a little tired of getting just Batman and Justice League for DC's animated movies. There are other characters they can choose from-Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Teen Titans, Aquaman,...

Everyone already knew it was Throne of Atlantis... and I dont know what the hate is for Justice League War. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only complaints would be Batman's voice and the lack of Aquaman. (But knowing Throne of Atlantis would be his big intro made that acceptable)

And I love how you can watch Flashpoint, JL:War and JL:Throne of Atlantis back to back since they adopte the after credits scene style.

I didnt much care for Son of Batman. It wasnt bad and it was cool to see Damian, but it was missing something and they made Deathstroke a bitch.

Ya like Judas Contract movie which would be awesome to see.

If JL: Throne of Atlantis is half as entertaining as the book, I may have a new favorite DC Animated movie.... if ONLY we could get Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night.

Maybe with a Justice League movie that might fuel interest in Green Lantern for Warner Bros again. We can only hope

Would still rather have an solo Aquaman movie based off his New 52 run. Guess this is the closest we're gonna get, so can't wait!

Prepping more people for Aquaman in BVSDoJ I think.

The character designs will look MORE MOMOA . . .

and LESS MORMON . . .

I urge everyone to pick up volumes 1, 2 and 3 of The New 52 Aquaman.

They are excellent. Believe the hype when you hear that Aquaman is awesome now.

Throne of Atlantis is Aquaman Volume 2.

Its a bit to much to ask to call the movie "Aquaman: ToA" but I'll settle for Justice League: ToA if the story is the same.
