Has Jared Leto Filmed A Cameo As The Joker For JUSTICE LEAGUE?
Is the Clown Prince of Crime going to make his presence felt in next year's Justice League movie? There may be some evidence pointing to that being the case, so hit the jump for details...
Earlier this week, Jared Leto made what was essentially a 24 hour trip to London, and Just Jared speculates that it could have something to do with Justice League. That movie is after all shooting in the city right now (well, just outside at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden anyway), and it's hard to imagine what else could bring the 44 year old Oscar winner to the UK capital for such a short period.
Speculation at one point ran rampant that The Joker might appear in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but what might lead to an appearance in Justice League? We know from the Utimate Edition of the former that the Dark Knight sent Lex Luthor to Arkham Asylum, so perhaps there's something there (though Suicide Squad seems like a more likely place to address that). Alternatively, the villain could appear in some sort of flashback. It's impossible to say, and there are no rumours to help us out!
Ultimately, this is purely speculation, but it's interesting to wonder what the iconic villain might be getting up to in Justice League if Leto has shot a brief cameo. Share your thoughts and theories below.
