JUSTICE LEAGUE Actress Amy Adams Believes She's Done With The DCEU: "They're Revamping It"

Did Amy Adams just confirm that Warner Bros. is forging ahead with a soft reboot of the DC Films Universe? During a new interview, the actress suggests that she won't be returning to the role of Lois Lane.

There have been persistent rumors that Warner Bros. is planing a soft reboot of the DCEU, which would likely maintain the continuity of the previous movies while taking them in a very different direction - but without a few key cast members involved!

Recent reports have indicated that both Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill's days as Batman and Superman are at an end, and Cavill's Man of Steel costar may have just confirmed it.

Amy Adams sat down for a chat with Aquaman star Nicole Kidman, and while welcoming her to the team, she mentions that she's "out of the DC Universe" now, and that "they're revamping" it.

Adams doesn't seem certain of this, however, and there's a chance she may simply be going off the trade reports that were doing the rounds - but one would assume that she'd have some inside knowledge of what's going at WB, at least as it pertains to her future in the role Lois Lane.

What do you guys make of Adams' comments? Be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

@EvilAngel - After her performance in The Fighter, her casting made perfect sense to me.

Pretty obvious Gal and Momoa are the faces of the DC movieverse (DCEU still isn't the official title).

And we have others like Zachary Levi signing on.

If it wasn't for Wonder Woman tbh the whole thing would have been rebooted rather than the soft reboot right now.

That's fine. She's a fine actress, but she's not Lois Lane.

Never liked her as Lois tbh. The DC Universe deserved better in general. I guess it was too much to ask for both Marvel AND DC to both have successful, well made movies :/

The worst Lois Lane. Not that it's her fault she was cast.

@SANSHORYU - Well it's not like she turned down the role either. So I'd say it's 50/50.

@Matador - Only an IDIOT actor/actress turns down work. Who knows when the next role will come along?

@bropous - So your saying she could have done something better?

@Matador - Work is work, man. And a chance to hook into a long running, lucrative franchise is a SMART move for an actor/actress. Too many times we have seen VERY decent folks taking a role that works for them, would parlay into some damn good paychecks, then they all of a sudden think they have to "pursue their muse" and piss off into arthouse obscurity land.

You wanna look at a GREAT actor who worked his ass off and never died poor and alone in a one-room apartment? ERNEST BORGNINE. Dude took EVERY role thrown his way.
