The SnyderVerse's time may have ended, but Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League director Zack Snyder has now shared some never-before-seen photos from each of those DCEU movies.
They appear to have been taken during costume tests for each movie, though shots like these are often used in marketing as well. Most of the spotlight goes to Henry Cavill's Man of Tomorrow, though Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor also receives the spotlight (and we're pretty sure a cropped version of that photo was used for our first black-and-white look at the villain prior to Batman v Superman's release).
Elsewhere, we see Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Michael Cassidy, the actor who played CIA agent Jimmy Olsen for a few minutes back in 2016.
His shocking death remains one of Snyder's most controversial creative decisions, though we recently learned Jimmy will get a second chance in James Gunn's upcoming reboot, Superman: Legacy.
Later this month, the filmmaker is going to bid a final farewell to his time in that comic book world with a "Full Circle" event featuring screenings of all three movies.
Benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, it will hail from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, with all three movies playing on IMAX screens. The event also supports the Autumn Snyder Tribute Fund in memory of Snyder's daughter, Autumn Snyder, who died through suicide in 2017.
As much as many fans would love to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse, DC Studios is rebooting the franchise as the DCU, and we don't anticipate Snyder getting to realise his vision in the years ahead. Still, it's possible Gunn and Peter Safran will bring the director's vision "full circle" by allowing him to end that story in a comic book or animated series.
