Justice League director Zack Snyder has shared a new batch of photos from his time in the DC Extended Universe, offering SnyderVerse fans a fresh look at characters like Superman, Lex Luthor, and Lois Lane.

The SnyderVerse's time may have ended, but Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League director Zack Snyder has now shared some never-before-seen photos from each of those DCEU movies.

They appear to have been taken during costume tests for each movie, though shots like these are often used in marketing as well. Most of the spotlight goes to Henry Cavill's Man of Tomorrow, though Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor also receives the spotlight (and we're pretty sure a cropped version of that photo was used for our first black-and-white look at the villain prior to Batman v Superman's release).

Elsewhere, we see Gal Gadot as Diana Prince, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Michael Cassidy, the actor who played CIA agent Jimmy Olsen for a few minutes back in 2016.

His shocking death remains one of Snyder's most controversial creative decisions, though we recently learned Jimmy will get a second chance in James Gunn's upcoming reboot, Superman: Legacy

Later this month, the filmmaker is going to bid a final farewell to his time in that comic book world with a "Full Circle" event featuring screenings of all three movies.

Benefitting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, it will hail from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, with all three movies playing on IMAX screens. The event also supports the Autumn Snyder Tribute Fund in memory of Snyder's daughter, Autumn Snyder, who died through suicide in 2017.

As much as many fans would love to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse, DC Studios is rebooting the franchise as the DCU, and we don't anticipate Snyder getting to realise his vision in the years ahead. Still, it's possible Gunn and Peter Safran will bring the director's vision "full circle" by allowing him to end that story in a comic book or animated series.

For now, you can check out these newly revealed DCEU photos in the Vero posts below.

This Jimmy Olsen is the GOAT. I enjoyed all three minutes with him before he got shot in the face.

Jimmy Olsen remains one the most ridiculous decisions.

He is a loved supporting character, and didn't get any development

And they can't claim shock value, because he wasn't even named.

Huge middle finger to fans

@ossie85 - [insert here] "remains one the most ridiculous decisions" can be said about nearly every decision made in BVS and JL. Let's look at JL for example, why would you have a henchman be the main villain of your very first team up movie that people have been waiting decades to see ? For BVS, why would you take multiple iconic storylines and cram them into a single movie instead of giving each its own ? The list just goes on and on. I will always give Snyder credit for Man of Steel, as I absolutely love that movie, but it's clear that one of the main reasons it worked was due to him working with Chris Nolan, as chances are he would've made the same mistakes he made with its sequels if he worked on it alone.

@ossie85 @Th3Batman - As a fan, it is definitely weird.

But from a story telling point of view...it made me feel like no character is safe. I felt engaged, I'd be honest. Didn't like it, but the movie definitely had my attention from then on.

It was a really weird decision to kill him.

@MarvelousMarty - I'm pretty sure in MOS they had Jenny in as gender swapped Jimmy Olsen only to retcon that close to release and in the sequel.

@PlusUltra - In modern America, Majors is guilty until he can prove without a shadow of a doubt that he's innocent. What's going on with him is exactly why you should only meet a woman in a public space where there are conutless witnesses and security cameras.

@Th3Batman - Read the article. The witnesses and cameras were there.

@PlusUltra - I know, but you have people (mainly the so called "me too" mob) saying that it's not enough. The poor guy has been dropped by his agent and let go of multiple projects. If you have something worth losing, you need to be very careful about who you meet and where.

@Th3Batman - While that’s true, he should of, it doesn’t change the fact that nobody, not even this site, are picking up this part of the story. Nobody except the black blogs, of course. We can all stop pretending this isn’t a smear campaign now though. Everybody’s intention is clear. They want to ruin this man because his star was shining far too bright.

@PlusUltra - "We can all stop pretending this isn’t a smear campaign now though. Everybody’s intention is clear"

This was always a mear campaign, as the first and only intention people nowadays have is getting clicks and political points with certain groups. Unfortunately for Majors and others in similar situations, getting to the truth is the last thing most people are interested in. I really hope that he manages to get back up after all this, and hopefully others with things to lose are paying close attention to this situation.

@Th3Batman - Well, let’s see what Marvel does. At this point, they’re the only ones that hasn’t thrown this man to the wolves… yet.
Th3Batman
Th3Batman - 4/20/2023, 6:12 AM
@PlusUltra - Marvel (Disney) is not going to want to look like the bad guy in this story, and unfortunately, being fair to Majors will make them look exactly like that. I really hope they stick with him, but I don't know how much longer they'll do so while others aren't. After all, we wouldn't want it to look like they don't "believe all women"...never mind the fact this woman who accused him of this rescinded the accusation.
FireandBlood
FireandBlood - 4/20/2023, 6:19 AM
@Th3Batman - She never even made the accusation in the first place, the police did, and then coached her to, that’s what’s crazy. On top of that, they arrested this man after this woman broke into and trashed his home. Abused women don’t break into peoples homes pissed out of their nut. Probably the reason Disney hasn’t done anything yet because there’s nothing to believe.

@PlusUltra - this is f**ked! I was waiting for the video and I got into an argument over this with that waifu weirdo over those text all because I said they could be interpreted both ways. Hmm they need to run this story asap because they were quick to condem him (we both know why).
