JUSTICE LEAGUE Finally Passes The $200 Million Mark At The North American Box Office
It took a lot longer than initial estimates suggested, but Warner Bros. and Zack Snyder's Justice League has finally passed the $200 million mark at the North American box office after 19 days on release.
We reported last night that Warner Bros. had amassed a whopping $5 billion this year for the second time in history, and now there's some more good news for the studio... even if it did come a lot later than they will have hoped.
After taking in $1.7 million at 3,820 locations on Tuesday, Justice League officially passed the $200 million mark domestically. Comparatively, both Wonder Woman and Suicide Squad had well cleared the $250M point after the same amount of time in theaters.
At this stage, Justice League might manage to rake in the $750M it needs to spin a profit for WB before its run comes to an end, but it's not looking good.
