JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie Gets A MUST SEE Fan Made EPIC SUPER CUT Trailer

Many loved the JUSTICE LEAGUE trailers. Others felt they were lacking something. CBM's own iAMschrute edits both trailers into a single trailer with a new score and a new vibe.

Close your eyes and think of the JUSTICE LEAGUE. What music comes to mind when you do? Very few people would say that The White Stripes 'The Hardest Button to Button' or a cover of The Beatles hit 'Come Together' are the songs they feel best represent these classic DC COMICS heroes. Speaking only for myself, I felt those tracks were odd choices for the first two trailers for Warner Bros. upcoming superhero extravaganza hitting theaters this November. Many people would instead think back to the classic themes from the award winning Bruce Timm animated series which helped make the JUSTICE LEAGUE house hold names for many recent generations, including my own. Both JUSTICE LEAGUE and JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED had iconic scores which informed later themes created for the DC ANIMATED JUSTICE LEAGUE movie series.

Those grand, swooping orchestral masterpieces have helped define the heart and soul of these characters for decades and continue even to this day. My hope was that our first introduction to Zack Snyder and the DCEU's JUSTICE LEAGUE, by means of teaser trailer, would include such dynamic and inspirational music that it would cause a wave of goosebumps and joygasms. We all know that feeling. Unfortunately for me, that was not the case with either trailers released thus far. While I did enjoy the trailers, I just couldn't help but feel they had missed some fantastic opportunities.

It just kept eating at me, the thought, "What would it have been like if those trailers had the scores I loved so much?" I just couldn't think of anything else. So, out of my own curiosity and love for these characters was born a mission. The goal of that mission was to create a super trailer which used the best footage and moments from both trailers and completely rearranged and edited them to flow along with an epic score worthy of the JUSTICE LEAGUE. I found that score in the form of an edited version of the theme from JUSTICE LEAGUE DOOM.

Using bits from JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS as well, I began to adjust the tempo and key of the theme until I arrived at a version of the theme which feels wonderfully familiar yet eerily new and completely perfect for the purposes of my SUPER CUT Trailer.

And without further ado, I humbly present to you my EPIC SUPERCUT Trailer for the DCEU's JUSTICE LEAGUE:

I hope you enjoyed it.

Please leave a comment with what you thought about my version of the trailer. Did you think my song choice and arranging of the clips made for an improvement, or do you prefer the trailers we got? What kind of music would you like for the remaining trailers and what kind of score do you hope to hear in the movie? Do you hope for those classical epic scores or a more modern and new sound? Perhaps a mixture of both? Let me know down below.

Bloody good effort! I like the edit and music choice! Suggestion: the music doesn't need to be as constant in the background. Music which builds and is progressive as the visuals; build and increase the intensity as per trailer storyboard as you have towards the trailer ending.
Earlier scenes could do with cinematic impact sound fx to prelude score, downers and lifters, etc.
