JUSTICE LEAGUE VFX Reel Includes Scenes Which Weren't In The Movie
Justice League hit theaters last November but it seems we're still no closer to seeing that "Snyder Cut" of the DC Comics adaptation. However, this VFX reel does at least reveal footage not in the film...
As you'll no doubt already know, Joss Whedon reshot the vast majority of Justice League and much of what Zack Snyder filmed ended up on the cutting room floor. Whether or not we'll ever see that "Snyder Cut" remains to be seen (don't bank on it) but loads of scrapped footage has found its way online in the past year and now a VFX reel from MPC's Guido Zanni reveals even more of that.
As you can see by watching the video, there are new shots of Cyborg, Wonder Woman, and Superman, not to mention a new action scene featuring Ben Affleck's Batman squaring off with a Parademon.
It's entirely feasible that these were scenes filmed by Whedon, especially as the VFX work was finished on them and we know he was told to trim Justice League down to two hours. Speculation is running rampant that Warner Bros. might reveal something about an extended cut at Comic-Con (possibly for the DC Universe streaming service) but in the meantime, share your thoughts on this video below.
