WarnerMedia is well aware that an awful lot of fans are excited for the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League, and there's going to be a limited amount of merchandise available to purchase.

We've seen some Funko Pops featuring the likeness of Darkseid, Superman, Diana Prince, and Desaad, but McFarlane Toys is also planning to release some action figures. The entire team will be getting their own highly-detailed figures, but so will villains Darkseid (Uxas) and Steppenwolf.

The latter's new design is clear to see in the images below, and he looks almost unrecognisable compared to the version in the 2017 movie. The level of detail here is staggering, and it's no wonder it took $70 million to finish the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League with a VFX-heavy character like this one. Darkseid, meanwhile, also looks great, and should be more than a match for the team given how downright formidable he looks here.

How much of a role he'll play in the proceedings remains to be seen, but it does appear Snyder has nailed how the character - who will likely next appear in The New Gods - should look in live-action.

In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes.

Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions. The movie premieres on HBO Max on March 18th.
