There are a lot of characters who it would be awesome to see show up in Justice League next year, but easily one of the most surprising additions is Mera. The girlfriend or wife of Aquaman in the comics, her involvement points to a visit to Atlantis being on the cards, and now Amber Heard has confirmed that she's playing the character.
However, perhaps the most interesting thing here is what the actress had to say about her costume. "It’s interesting. It’s like, half suit of armor, half scales," she tells ET (via Batman-News).
