Earlier this week, we learned that Zack Snyder has stepped down from Justice League in order to be with his family following his daughter's suicide back in March. Now, Joss Whedon will finish the film, and while it remains to be seen what comes next for the director, he's taken to social media to thank both fans and his colleagues for their support and to share some very important information.

That is the names of places people who may be suffering from similar issues to his late daughter can reach out to should they need help. As tragic as this is, hopefully, some good will come out of this if it means the news inspires others to seek out support or advice. How much work Whedon is putting into Justice League is unclear, but with any luck, it will remain a Zack Snyder film at the end of the day.

@ossie85 - Snyder deserves it. I don't mean that as a director of course, I mean as a human being.

It's unfortunate and rare to see a director rise up to the strength of the characters he puts on screen.

@PlanetG - putting a Twitter avatar of your own movie is some awesome deed that makes you a great filmmaker?

It's sad, of course. It's also for the best that he take a long, long vacation.
Between his wife and himself, they've made more than enough money.
I'm sure the family would love to have him stay home.

So great seeing that, despite all our bickering, everyone here was respectful and civil. Great community here at CBM.

Are any of you guys aware of the 'Hack Snyder' FB page shutting down? As badly as I feel and as sorry as I am for Zack Snyder and his family, I think it was wrong to shut that page down. People should be allowed to express themselves freely. Being offensive, disgusting or outrageous is not a justification for silencing opinons
