JUSTICE LEAGUE Producer Offers Updates On MAN OF STEEL 2 And Ben Affleck Returning For THE BATMAN
With Justice League finally set to hit theatres this weekend, producer Charles Roven provides an update on a couple of upcoming Warner Bros. DC movies that are still in the planning stages. Check it out...
The last update we had on Man of Steel 2 claimed that Warner Bros. was planning on fast-tracking the sequel to Zack Snyder's divisive take on the iconic DC hero, but that doesn't appear to be the case any more.
While speaking to The Washington Times, Justice League producer Charles Roven was asked about the status of Superman's next solo adventure, and revealed that although there's still no script, “various story ideas” are being kicked around.
Roven was also quizzed about Ben Affleck returning to play The Dark Knight for Matt Reeves' The Batman, but wouldn't flat out confirm or deny. “From everything I know, he’s going to play that Batman,” said Roven. “They’re retooling the script, so I can’t really say anything for certain.”
Not the most positive of updates, perhaps, but of course, even if Roven does know more than he'd willing to say here it's hardly surprising that he'd be keeping mum until after Justice League is out.
