JUSTICE LEAGUE Reshoots May Not Be As "Extensive" As Reported; Zack Snyder's Vision Remains In Place
Despite claims that Justice League's reshoots are "extensive," a new report points to Zack Snyder's vision remaining in place and Joss Whedon's work not being a heavy handed as some have claimed...
Due to a family tragedy, Zack Snyder decided to step down from Justice League and Warner Bros. handed the reigns over to Joss Whedon instead. Since then, it's been reported that the reshoots he's at the helm of are extensive and that the movie is undergoing some serious changes. The response to that has been understandably mixed and the signs are pointing to Snyder's vision being totally lost.
Well, we may not have to worry about that after all. According to Superhero News reporter Mark Hughes, the reason the reshoots took so long is because Warner Bros. had to line up the cast's schedules, something which isn't easy when you have a large ensemble who need to share scenes.
He adds that "the majority of the footage that you’re going to see on the screen is still the footage that was previously shot during principal photography" and it appears as if Whedon is just adding bits and pieces, something which was reported before we started hearing about the "extensive" reshoots.
Like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, there's a very good chance we'll never know just how much Justice League has been changed but providing it's a good movie, that hopefully won't matter too much.
