It's hard to imagine the classic Justice League Unlimited series being topped, but Cartoon Network will launch a new 11 minute show revolving around this DC Comics superhero team this Fall. While it appears to be aimed at younger fans, the roster should definitely intrigue fans, especially as four very surprising additions have been made today (as you can see from the promo poster below).

Joining Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman will be Green Arrow, Plastic Man, Firestorm, and, er, Space Cabbie. The latter is particularly surprising, but this is a fun and unique mixture for sure.

With the likes of Kevin Conroy (Batman), Mark Hamill (The Joker), James Woods (Lex Luthor), and Diedrich Bader (Booster Gold) lending their voices to Justice League Action, it's shaping up well so far, and there may be enough here for comic book readers so that they too can enjoy what's on offer. If nothing else, it will go a long way in introducing your kids to the DC Universe, so that's a plus!

"Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge.

New "Justice League Action" Art Adds Firestorm, Green Arrow, Plastic Man -- and Space Cabbie?

@Thaxander12 - Yea, I'm hoping for a brave and the bold style show out of this. Campy, but fun, and showcasing a long list of characters.

Bruce Timm is associated with this, as is Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy. But I can't shake the feeling that this is gonna be teen titans go 2.0

@chriskrispy - Well, the A in JLA stands for Action, which implies that this will atleast be action orientated

@chriskrispy - If only this were classic Bruce Timm style...I guess all artists have to change their style to continue to evolve and grow, but I only wish it didn't look so kiddish - the style just so blatantly implies a show that's lacking in the rich substance that defined the DCAU and even Young Justice.
