I personaly believe that the remake was way better than the original, story wise and the fact that the bullies actually desreved to be ripped to shreds. In the original I didn't really hate the bullies as much. The thing that I liked about the original was the fact that the girl looked pale when she was normal while the girl in the remake looked way to light when she was normal. She's supposed to be a vampire, she should look pale.

Pretty cool posters. I thought this movie was one of the best recent vampire films. The ending of the movie when the bullies are viciously killed it was kind of disturbing.

@ dionysios... I know they tried to kill him but i didn't believe them to be really mean to be killed, atleast they actually kicked the shit out of him a couple times in the remake. Plus in the original would a dude really go so far as to look for a vampire that killed his girlfriend and friends? In the Remake atleast they changed the story where a cop is looking into the situation instead of some old guy. seem's more reasonable to me.

Wasn't her father really her first love and i don't know about the castrated boy part, but whatever? I'm not saying that the original is bad! i liked it too, it's one horror film that I actually like, but the remake still seems better!
