I watched the pilot too, and I enjoyed it. I like how Michael Chiklis actually seems to enjoy having super powers. After years of Heroes, where everyone acted like being a superhero was some dark curse, Chiklis makes superheroes fun again.

Just hard to judge. This could be like Heros where they will do everything they can to avoid being SuperHeros. This show is starting with what should turn these people into the Incredibles. But I could easily see it being 'well we are going to be normal anyway'.

If it develops into some unique form of SuperHeros it could be great. But somehow I have a feeling this might be just another attempt to steal some part of the Comic book idea but avoid as much of the rest as possible.

Michael and Jule are however STUNNINGLY good so it won't suck whatever it is exactly. I will always think of her as Darla but she is far more than any role.

Nice job Leee. Only thing it is missing is the creator talking about what the show is, and what it is not. That was where I got the 'no tights no flights' and 'it ends when he puts on the suit' that define Smallville.

It sounds fun. And I like Chiklis. I'll try to catch this if it comes my way. It will probably end up on Star World or Fox channel.

Thanks a bunch, Leee!

I'm trying to figure this show out. It looks like it could be fun, but I'm worried that we're going to get another group of people who are ashamed of their abilities and do everything they can to hide them. I guess I'll have to check this out to see where they're going with it. I'm hoping for some old-fashioned superhero fun.

It may seem corny or trite today, but I like the old thing of "we have to use these special abilities to help mankind" or at least a good villainous "with these powers, we can rule the world! Who could stop us?".

I just hope I like Julie Bez's character more than her Rita from Dexter.
