i actually thought this show was alright, better than the cape.

not looking good for superhero shows, another name to a list that seems to be getting longer all the time.

-heroes
-the cape
-no ordinary family
-smallville (finally coming to an end)

wonder woman is next on the list.

u know this could just mean that the stars shows air in the fall and shoot in the summer while no ordinary family air in the summer and shoot in the fall or vice versa

i like this show too, but doesn't seem like it should go on too long. it's kind of like movies that don't need a part 2 and so on. so i'm not really very surprised about the show ending.

I actually like this show a lot... I really hope its not cancelled. It was way better than The Cape (we're comparing those two. Why?) and the last two seasons of Heroes and the last three seasons of Smallville. It had enough drama in it to hold my attention. The characters were well fleshed out and it felt like it actually had writers. It deserved 2 or 3 seasons, at least. One season is most certainly an insult. Of course, they did that with a show like Firefly too! So, f*ck it!

This disappoints me because I thought this was a good show. ABC just never gave it a chance.

If that's your question then the answer is NO, it wasn't "Rubbish".

It was pretty much another excellent production of good family entertainment that unfortunately wasn't reality TV or extreme adult enough to capture enough dedicated viewers form either popular extremes. Being of the "Superhero" genre didn't help either since it fell into the HEROES aftermath that is pretty mush soiled by the downslide that show created after duping so many of the general public with its initial potential that was never realized!

Now it joins the ranks of Jorneyman, Daybreak, Brisco County Junior, Moonlight, Threshold, Firefly, The Gates and a whole list of great genre shows that simply never should of gotten cancelled.

I loved No Ordinary Family!
it was such a great, fun show with an awesome cast. :(

They have a lot better views than most shows that are still on the air, so I hate how they just suddenly cancel a show. I hope they actually give it an ending!

I loved the show. Now I hate ABC. With and the possibility of V getting canceled I doubt The Hulk TV show will even last because ABC does not gives shows a chance anymore unless its chick shows thats with reality and dramatizations. I don't blame the stars wanting to get on shows for CBS it is the last network to truly give shows a chance to catch on.

It would be a shame if so. It's not great, but enjoyable enough.

What I don't understand is why SyFy doesn't pick any of these good shows up once they get cancelled. Look at Southland for example it got cancelled by NBC and has since been picked up and done very well on TNT.

This show is pretty damn good. I hate when they don't give shows like this a chance. They'll probably replace it with another stupid show about Doctors, or Lawyers because we need more of those. My kids are going to be upset because we all watch it as a family, it's one of the few shows we can watch together as a fam.

I definitely love the show. Better than a lot of stuff on out there, however they should slow down with all of the great surpirses. I felt the show was advancing too fast, but I didn't realize it was because they were going to cancel it!

I don't know who I'm more mad at. Michael Chiklis and Julie Benz for quitting the show or ABC for upsetting fans once again. V didn't get enough ratings but the final episode left us wondering how will the humans ever stand up against the Visitors and their plans for taking over the planet. Fans of Terry Goodkind's series, The Sword of Truth suffered in anguish when the network canceled Legend of the Seeker after it's second season. I don't think the Network is being very fair. No wonder their losing viewers.
