Looks like a cool flick, any word on an american region version coming out? I'm guessing not for a couple years. It's not on amazon anyways. Thanks for the heads up. I'll keep it in mind for when it hops the pond.

Oh and about watchmen being made after this on film doesnt matteer, uhh watchmen was released 20 years ago on paper. Lame RORSCHACH ripoff!!!!

The imagery is undoubtedly based on Rorschach...but one must remember he's not entirely an original character either as he is based primarily on the Question who is based on the man with no face. It's a classic, almost stock character, so this could be original an interesting. It certainly has a good look to t, I think I shall hunt for a pirated copy online, screw waiting for an amerian version of the dvd.

It's good, trust me, you will be suprised. It's clever but as LEEE777 said, you do have to have half a brain to understand it and it would also help if you weren't narrow minded but it's not essential as the film isn't just about a dude in a faceless mask.

To sum up, its original, its clever and definetly worth watching. It's better than a lot of other movies i've seen recently.

GUYS @ This is not your average comic book movie, this would appeal to ppl who love deverse interesing books, Vertigo, etc! Alot of ppl compared NIGHT OWL to BATMAN, does that make WATCHMEN crap? Infact that had mixed reviews too!!! Theres alot of movies an comic books that look alike, doesn't make 'em rip offs lol! An like i said, it is a deep movie!

Bottom line is we need more movies like this instead of the no brainers! Yes its not to everybody, but to most of us comic book fans, that dont just read Dark Avengers, New Warriors etc, (hey nothing wrong wiv them by the way) will enjoy this movie!

By the way @ theFACE @ I think its about time WARNERS got a QUESTION movie started, man that would be amazing!!!

LEEE777 @ I would love to see a movie about "The Question", i'm not sure whether i just dreamt this but i am sure i read somewhere that it is being considered for a movie adaptation. With characters like Rorschach and Franklyn hitting the big screen, and being well received, certainly leaves the door open for more faceless characters, at least thats what i think. I also remember TheMyth doing a fancast for a League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen movie, in which The Question was one of the main characters, i thought it would be cool, if i find the link i'll post it.
