A Task for Video Editors and MCU Fans!

How does a supercut using the MCU timeline and all the MCU movies sound? Let's do this.

Hi, my name is MrSteiners and this is an idea that I've been dying to see become reality. Using the MCU timeline given to us by Marvel Studios, and the 6 official phase one movies: create a "fan-film" cutting together the 6 films into 1 Phase One movie, following the timeline leading up to the final act: THE AVENGERS
If there are any comic fans willing to help out with this and have good editing skill please band together. As seen in the timeline below, parts from Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America the First Avenger intertwine with each other making the viewing experience of these movies hard to comprehend what’s happening when. With this timeline it gives us the information for the MCU: Phase One Supercut, all the clips this would make it around 13 hours long, which is insane, but I think it would be amazing to see.

If this could come into fruition and someone or a group of fans could make this into a reality, it would be a dream come true, MCU FANS UNITE!

I think it's actually been done before, look for the "The Avengers Initiative" fanedits in Fanedit.org.

I'm a faneditor myself and i'd be happy to help, but right now i'm working on something else that's pretty big on it's own, PM me and we can work something out.

I'm not sure how well it would work though. It might seem like some huge giant jumbled mess of a film. And the captain america part would just be watching the entire captain america movie before getting to any other avengers, ya know? Because it happens before anything else does (except for the beginning of Thor). Then when you get into Iron Man that's when things start to mix and it might be a little hard to follow. It would still be interesting if done right.

Oh! I just got a cool idea. That part in Iron Man 2 where coulson says hes gotta go to Mexico, you could cut away to the Marvel One-Shot "A Funny thing happened on the way to Thor's hammer". Mixing in all the one shots would be awesome.

it's still in my Magix Pro Editor program. I started putting scenes together since Iron Man 2 came out. Since then it's become this huge 13 hour long movie.

In case you're interested to know. I've just finished it.
I've rendered the 11 hour movie into an flv file. The only problem, it was 147GB HD. I've managed to get it down to 12GB. However, it loses some quality but still watchable.

Any suggestions on how I can compress this thing even more?
As well as, any sites other than Fanedit.org that I can try to upload it on.
Maybe put it into a rar file. Although it's about 4GB.
