Creator of many comic characters, most notably Bizarro and his stories of Aquaman, Vigilante, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern Alvin Schwartz died October 29 at the age of 95



Alvin got his start in comics with his first Batman story in 1942, then in 1944 he started writing Superman, after which he wrote DC's Newspaper strips between 1944 and 1952. He will be missed.
