Bruce Willis will play Hartigan, a hardboiled cop with a weak heart, in the big screen adaptation of Frank Miller's Sin City.

Robert Rodriguez, who is directing the film with Miller, told Entertainment Weekly, "I've been a big fan of Bruce's since Moonlighting. I remember seeing a black-and-white film noir episode with him in Moonlighting. He's got this great, hardboiled black-and-white face."
Willis' sequences will be in black and white (an effect familiar to the readers of the Dark Horse comic). Other sequences will be in color.

Quentin Tarantino is also involved in the film which has caught the eye of many big name holiday stars for supporting roles such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Elijah Wood, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Kate Bosworth, and Jaime King.
