Our round up of some smaller comic, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and CBM related movie news that may be of interest. First up is a clip from the brand new Toy Story short called "Small Fry" that will show in front of The Muppets next February. Via HeyUguys

And although we have seen most of these images as part of the previously released banner for Brad Bird's new Mission Impossible, here are some individual posters featuring 2 new character pics. Via Impawards.com

Christopher Nolan's third and final Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises officially wrapped last night in New York. Nolan shot the movie on three continents but spent a majority of his time in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles and New York City. We have seen a lot (too much for some) of this movie from leaked set pics and now we have that 6 minute prologue to look forward to. Bring it on.

And finally Empire have some nice new stills from the new Pixar movie, the mysterious Brave. We had already seen a short teaser but the full trailer will hit tomorrow. Below is a synopsis too.

"Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late."

Two things you might want to correct:

1. It's Brave, not The Brave.

2. The Muppets is released in February in Britain, it's released on Thanksgiving across the pond.

"Brave" does kinda remind me of "How to Train Your Dragon" but could be good.

"The Brave" was Johnny Depp's directorial debut, but it sucked so bad they buried it.

Brave looks good 'n' all, but THIS is the best trailer I've seen for an ani film...I think, perhaps, ever:

And I cant look at Paula Patton without thinking of her in Precious as her teacher. She was amazing in that role. And she kinda looks like Sofia Vegara.
