Our round up of some smaller comic, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Action and CBM related movie news that may be of interest. First up Kate Beckinsale speaks to Total Film about returning to the character she has portrayed 3 times already. She also reveals that she has held on to one of those skin tight leather suits for her lucky bastard of a husband..
“Oh, it’s been great, I genuinely thought there wouldn’t be another one. I’m so obedient and gullible and they said it’s always going to be a trilogy, so when people would ask me if I’m doing another I would always say, ‘No, there’s not going to be another. Plus, I was concerned about how a fourth one for me could be interesting, how it could be different – and the storyline they’ve come up with was really interesting to me.”
"OK, I kept one of the suits. I did wear it for Halloween once. I dressed it up a bit so no one knew that that’s what it was – I used it as the base for another costume. Oh… and it comes in handy on my husband’s birthday. Ha!”
No comic books for Bourne but since it's a popular franchise here on CBM and Jeremy Renner will be appearing as Hawkeye in The Avengers, you guys might find this interesting. Renner gives us an idea of what to expect from the fourth Bourne flick, even revealing his character's name to
Empire
"My character is called Aaron Cross," Renner told us, "but he ends up having a bunch of different names. For fans of the franchise, [The Bourne Legacy] has that same ticking clock, but it's a new programme and new characters."
So is Treadstone still involved? "Yeah, it's that same deal, it's just a new set of agents with a different leash. It's the same tempo and pace but more expansive and bigger. The differences are pretty vast but you'll know it's a Bourne movie."
