Kevin, Walt, Bryan, Mike, and Ming are back - behind the counter and in front of the microphone - as AMC’s unscripted series Comic Book Men returns for its third season this fall. The show will continue to entertain audiences by following the antics in and around master fanboy Kevin Smith’s Red Bank, New Jersey comic shop, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash. The sixteen half-hour episodes will continue to document the daily banter of the Stash staff and customers as they geek-out over mind-blowing pop culture artifacts and iconic celebrities and personalities from the fanboy world including the Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno and from the original Star Trek series, Nichelle Nichols (Uhura). Whether it’s about buying and selling memorabilia or embarking on wild adventures away from the store, the men of The Stash share all the juicy details with Kevin through their hilarious podcast, which is woven throughout the series.

LMFAO Ferrigno's face when he said he ate burgers or pizza every day was priceless.

Looking at the thumbnail, i thought it was Alan Moore.
I would LOVE to see Lou Ferigno pound Alan Moore's Hobo face into pulp.

Instead of being so quick to call someone an idiot (thus making yourself look like one in the process) you should probably do a bit of reading first.

Kevin Smith held an open casting call in New Jersey before the show first aired.

Turns out they STILL do auditions. Know why? THE SHOW ISN'T REALITY, all of those people you see bringing items into the store don't just walk in. They auditioned first. Hell, they even DID hold auditions for an extra employee at one point, until AMC told them to save that for a later season.

Google is your friend. There's even a site specifically for submitting yourself to be on the show.

I am aware of that. The way that it was insinuated by duncboy was that he would be part of the day to day show. All the employees are real employees, and of course people are cast for the "I'm here to buy something" or "I'm here to sell something".

If you would grasp the concept of phrasing, you might look less foolish when you lash out. Just saying.

Lou Ferigno needs to be in an Expendables movie.

@zemus

Nope, you assumed that's what he meant. All he actually said was he "could have auditioned for season 1".

Now, since you mentioned phrasing, take a look at that again. At no point does he say the WHOLE season. Just season 1. And since you claim to have known they were auditioning for the "walk-ins" then you really should have known it was to be a PART of season 1.

But hey, it's the internet. People will forget logic (not to mention reading comprehension) to jump at the chance to call someone an idiot. Pot, kettle.

Regardless, I'm glad the show is coming back. I had thought it was canceled.
